Loved this 16th Century Hotel!
☺ I love how old it was! That it was clean. The staff were amazingly helpful! I even met the owner and he was super lovely as was his furbaby! The entire experience at this hotel was just perfect! As a solo traveler I felt safe and well taken care of!

☺Il personale è stato estremamente cortese e disponibile. Per mera distrazione ho prenotato la camera per il giorno precedente a quello desiderato e, nonostante siamo arrivati con un giorno di ritardo, siamo stati accolti cordialmente e ci hanno trovato una sistemazione in una camera della stessa categoria, senza costi aggiuntivi.
La posizione è centralissima e la reception è aperta h24.
☹La camera che ci è stata assegnata non era ben insonorizzata e si sentivano i rumori provenienti dal bagno della camera adiacente. La finestra affacciava sulla corte interna dove al mattino, a partire dalle 7.30, vengono servite le colazioni, non garantendo sufficiente privacy. 
Non escludo che se fossimo arrivati nella data prevista, la sistemazione potesse essere migliore, ma ritengo comunque che ogni camera debba avere la privacy opportuna.

Amazing staff - were really helpful and gave us great recommendations (specially Matteo who recommended a brilliant ice-cream place and places to find vacuum-sealed cheese). Thanks to them we were able to load up and enjoy Italian cheese for months to come!
The location is unbeatable - literally seconds away from the main square with none of the noise to match! They also had free private car parking and valet from the hotel door.
The only downside would be breakfast, which wasn't the best, but that's very Italian and didn't affect our stay. Would definitely come back next time we're in Cortona!
